Dear Parent / Carer
Following the Prime Ministers announcement yesterday evening and supported by the Health Secretary’s broadcast this evening, the advice to us all is a resounding stay at home.
For those parents and carers who have already taken the decision to keep their child at home, please continue to do so. We continue to offer a day care provision to those young people who need to attend due to the key workers status of their parent or carer and are in the vulnerable category.
I enclose for your information a letter from the Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Children and Families, within this letter you will find useful links including a frequently asked questions section. Also contained within the letter is very clear guidance stating.
“… It is, however, important that as many children as possible remain at home during this time in order to help reduce transmission rates.”
Please be assured that we continue to follow all guidance provided by Central and Local Government, the Department for Education and Public Health England.
If you do have any concerns or questions, please do not hesitate to contact the school office in the first instance.
Stay Home, Stay Safe!
