Dear Parent / Carer
I want to start my update tonight with a thank you; for your patience, support and understanding this week. My staff and I are immensely proud of all the children and young people who are in our care, they have shown great resilience and fortitude during a very uncertain period.
The school is open on Monday for those students of key workers who have been identified via phone calls today and who have confirmed the need for their child to attend school. If your family situation changes please can you call the school office to discuss your change in circumstances. If you need support and guidance regarding your child attending school or in any matter relating to the educational and pastoral provision at Broomhill Bank School please call the school office in the first instance.
On Monday 23rd March, the on-line school work we have been creating will be posted on our Website, we hope you will find this easy to access and to support your child we will e-mail them a quick help guide to get them started. Your child will have also received or will shortly receive a hard copy of learning materials to complete during this extended absence from school. The learning materials provided on the Website will be refreshed periodically to ensure students remain engaged with their education.
Please be assured my staff and I will be available to support every student and parent by email or telephone as required during this unprecedented time away from school. Please look out for each other and keep safe.
