July 2010 - BROOMHILL BANK WIN GOLD AT THE KENT SCHOOL GAMES!
The Kent School Games is the largest sporting event of it’s kind in Europe and Broomhill Bank has taken part in five of the events this week with some very good results. We showed real team commitment and skilful play in the Football competition and achieved three personal best scores in the Archery tournament at the University of Kent in Canterbury.
At Sevenoaks School, in the New Age Kurling we reached the semi-finals and in the Boccia we won second place. The Athletics team came home with the biggest prize of all. As well as individual wins and good personal performances they were the overall WINNERS and...…Gold Medallists of the Girls’ Team Competition.
Well Done to all competitors!

June 2010 - Snowdon trip

On June 13th, 9 pupils and 4 staff left for the Kent Mountain Centre situated in Llanberis , a small village in the Snowdonia National park.  Here we undertook a number of challenging outdoor activities, bouldering, canoeing, gorge walking, sea level traversing, a visit to the story teller in Cae Mabon and climbing Mount Snowdon.  We are proud to say that everyone reached the summit of Snowdon after a long hard walk, where they were rewarded with 365 degrees panoramic views, which took their breath away.

As always it was a hugely rewarding and  successful trip, and plans are already underway for June 2011.
