Healthy School

We achieved our Healthy school status in 2006. We received a Healthy eating award shortly after this as an off shoot of this and because of our healthy tuck shop. The criteria for a Healthy School can be found at this link: http://www.healthyschools.gov.uk/

 

All meals at Broomhill Bank are freshly prepared and cooked each day by the catering team.  Great attention is paid to the menus to ensure they comply with the Government’s food-based and nutrient-based standards.

The catering team take great pride in their involvement with the school and as well as preparing their own 'food themes' they ensure that any special curriculum theme days are supported by the appropriate menu.
