Student Council

The student council has been running at Broomhill Bank for nearly 10 years. It consists of 8 student representatives, 5 from each of the classes in lower school, and 3 from the FED. Reps are elected each October and serve for a school year.

Over the years the council has been involved with a range of projects including uniform changes to allow girls to wear trousers, producing a student version of the school anti bullying policy, and gathering views about potential changes to the school BMS.

The students take their roles as reps very seriously, and are often asked to be ambassadors for the school, interviewing potential new staff and escorting visitors around the grounds and classrooms.
